The challenge
OCI’s strategy focuses on strong growth of its fertilizer activities. As a consequence the organization grew through green fields and acquisitions. In order to professionalize, integrate, derive synergies and capture the potential value of the business and to facilitate further expansion all fertilizer activities will be part of the newly established OCI Fertilizer group. The current fertilizer units will grow towards one fertilizer company with aligned strategies, policies and objectives. This will also be the case in the field of Safety, Health and Environmental topics. The Director SHE will deliver a vital contribution to the development and implementation of the overall OCI Fertilizers SHE policies, standards and objectives with a high degree of autonomy.
The Ideal
- Master in Science (Process Engineering or equivalent)
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in manufacturing related positions
- Knowledge of relevant legislations, requirements and standards
- Proven leadership in Safety, Health & Environmental management
- Highly developed interpersonal communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- International working experience and willingness to travel
