OCI Melamine re-starts 30kt/a melamine plant in Geleen in H2 2011

OCI Melamine, part of OCI Nitrogen one of the European market leaders in fertilizers and melamine, has decided to re-start its 30,000 tonnes/annum Short Liquid Phase (SLP) melamine plant in Geleen, The Netherlands. Commercial quantities of SLP melamine are expected in the fourth quarter of 2011 and contract volumes will be available from the first quarter of 2012.
