Anita Twikler, Operator B
Ideal: work six days, take four days off

“I was chosen from more than seven hundred candidates to take the Vapro B program. That was a huge opportunity, because I want to develop my talents in a technical environment. The two-year program is challenging, and it’s excellent preparation for day-to-day work in the melamine plant. Of course when you’ve got two young kids, combining shift work with a training program is quite a challenge. Fortunately, my schedule is six days on – with a different shift every two days – followed by four days off. That time off is precious – it means I can focus on both my family and my studies.”
